At the Heart of Business: Helping businesses and organizations create a better world
Here at Market Readiness & Employment, we partner with and empower BizDeacs to navigate the ever-changing market by utilizing resources and networks. As coaches, we seek to inspire, challenge, and prepare every student to become market-ready and launch into a career that reflects their values, interests, and skills using our Ready7 framework.
Undergraduate Students
What to expect
Our coaches pride themselves on being very accessible to WFUSB students and meeting everyone wherever they are in their career journey, whether just getting started or actively engaged in a career search. We will match the energy each student brings to their search process.
We engage students in a variety of ways: workshops, employer events, alumni panels, and 1:1 appointments.
How to prepare
We encourage students to fully utilize the resources available in the Office of Personal and Career Development (OPCD). The coaches in the OPCD are best aligned to help you consider business careers before you officially commit to being a BizDeac.
Please feel free to view any and all resources on our website! You have access to our resume guides, interviewing techniques, and a wealth of other resources at your fingertips.
Graduate Students
What to expect
Our MSM, MSBA, and MSA programs uniquely integrate academics and career development. This means we’re excited to see our graduate students in many spaces during your time at the WFUSB.
How to prepare
Some students interested in our Pre-Experience Masters programs arrive with a strong awareness of their career path, but many are still exploring and learning. Take any time you have before the program begins to talk with professionals in the industry and learn about their careers. Gathering information on pathways is a major part of the process that you can start now!
