Marketing Intern

by eliminating cage washing and allowing customers to optimize their resources—saving time,
space, capital, and labor.

marketing skills in a real-world environment? We are looking for a self-starter with a can-do
approach, strong organizational skills, and a passion for marketing to work with our team. The
Marketing Intern will support the work of the marketing department, including, but not limited to,
operational marketing, event planning, social media, and promotional activities. This is an in-office
role based at our San Diego headquarters, reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager. Candidates
must be able to work 20+ hours per week. The responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Social Media Graphics & Content Creation:
● Create social media assets across LinkedIn and Instagram, including but not limited to short-
form video, graphics and imagery using Adobe CS, Canva, and CapCut/PremierPro.
● Maintain and update the social media content calendar to ensure consistent publishing
cadence.
● Collaborate cross-functionally to develop post concepts, gather approvals, and coordinate
on-schedule publishing;
● Monitor and report on competitor social media activity, surfacing relevant trends and content
insights.
Trade Show & Events:
● Support the sales team with trade show and conference logistics, including product and
swag preparation, packaging and logistics hand-off.
● Track attendees, process expenses, and maintain records for all US and international
events.
● Assist in planning and on site-execution for events like AALAS Annual Meeting, collect and
compile post-event feedback.
Samples & Inventory:
● Process all incoming sample requests, coordinate assembly, and hand-off to customer
service and logistics, and maintain accurate sample records

● Replenish sample inventory, keep storage area organized and labeled, Swag: inventory
tracking, new item orders and reorders idea gen, and tracking
● Order and track swag and collateral inventory(data sheet, catalog, branded items);
coordinate re-orders and receiving, support new swag ideation.
General Marketing Operations
● Maintain organized digital file systems for marketing assets and collateral
● Log and track marketing expenses and purchases records
● Manage and update Asana tasks to support team project tracking
● Assist with photoshoots, video production, and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
● A college student or a recent grad with a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business
Administration, Communications or a related field.
● 1-2 years of relevant work experience.
● Demonstrated experience creating content for LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok
● Proficiency with Adobe CS and Canva for graphic and visual asset creation
● Proficiency with CapCut, Adobe PremierePro, or similar tools for short-form video editing
● Demonstrated ability to manage tasks and small projects from start to finish, including
coordinating with others and meeting deadlines.
● Strong process orientation and ability to track, document, and maintain repeatable workflows
for tasks such as inventory, swag, and event logistics.
● Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written, and communications skills.
● Available to work 20+ hours per week, with occasional availability for trade shows and
events (may include travel)
● Ability to lift and move boxes as needed for sample, swag, and event material handling
● Self-motivated, combining initiative with complete follow-through is a must.
● Results-driven and customer-oriented mindset.
● Proficiency in platforms such as HubSpot, SurveyMonkey, Hootsuite or equivalent, Asana,
are a plus.

Pay range: $18-21/hour
